Medieval Hog Roast

The Medieval Banquet Menus OFFERED HERE are authentic sit down, served to table, Medieval dining services. However, if you are working to a budget, then the Medieval Hog Roast works out at terrific value per head for each of your guests. Your guests are welcomed and the start of the Medieval Hog Roast is announced (when you have requested it). Your guests will come up to the Hog Roast and the serving tables where serving wenches or serving men will help carve the whole roast hog and help serve to bread trenchours (edible plates) the hog roast meat with rustic breads, sewe (cider gravy) and wortys (greens, salads and steamed vegetables). Cutlery and crockery will also be supplied, which will be collected by our serving retainers at the remove. Chewetts Fruyter (Individual Fruit Pies) and Cream on platters will be placed on the tables after the remove for your guests to help themselves.

Options & Prices: We provide: all the food and staff to carve and help serve and collect in the plates etc., and we will be on duty for around 2 hours. You provide the venue or marquee, and the Medieval entertainments - or you can leave it all to us to sort out, ask our events manager. Note: There are four levels of banquet offered by Apex Catering, each increasing in cost and scale.
